Almost Down to the Right Weight

Almost down to the right weight again, although it remains to be seen if I can keep it off for very long. Of course losing the weight and keeping it off are two different things entirely. You can go up and down like a yo yo if you are not really committed to living a healthy life style and that is not so easy for you to do. I am thinking about joining this Canary wharf gym. It is about a block and a half from the bank where I am working, which means that in theory I could go in to the office early or pop out for a quick session with a personal trainer. I work a lot at the bank, but that does not mean that I have no flex in the way that I schedule things. In fact my boss probably has no real idea where I am or what I am doing half of the time. She is busy doing her own thing which is not really involved with what I do. That is odd to say, but she trusts me to do what I am supposed to do and just barely checks.

So even if I work sixty hours in a week that does not mean that I could not try to squeeze in an hour or two where I take care of myself. I have been doing it with the stairs at work. I am on the tenth floor of the office and if you climb ten sets of stairs twice per day, that is a pretty good work out. In fact you can pretty much thing about the weight that you are carrying and then about how much energy you expend lifting it a single flight of stairs, it is a lot more than you would think.
